Long exposure point cloud

This is an attempt to render volumetric objects (3d scanned portraits in point cloud for the moment) with light and long exposure photography.

All the test images are without retouching, point cloud portraits are like ghosts in dark landscape.
This is an experiment in progress and I will try to improve the technique

Process

1 –
Point cloud capture using a Kinect
slicing



2 – A “sliced video” is rendered




3 – a tablet playing the sliced video is moved in a rectilinear motion while the DSLR capture the screen
